🌍 CitySpotter non raccoglie dati degli utenti e non comunica con server esterni. Tutti i dati che usa — mappe del terreno e database delle città — sono già inclusi nell'app e provengono esclusivamente da fonti pubbliche e gratuite.
🌍 CitySpotter does not collect user data and does not communicate with external servers. All the data it uses — terrain maps and city databases — are already bundled in the app and come exclusively from public, free sources.
Una mappa dettagliata delle colline e montagne d'Italia, già inclusa nell'app, con una risoluzione di 150m. CitySpotter la usa per capire se c'è qualcosa in mezzo tra te e una città — se c'è, quella città non appare. Tutto funziona senza internet.
A detailed map of Italy's hills and mountains, already bundled inside the app, at 150m resolution. CitySpotter uses it to check whether something blocks the view between you and a city — if it does, that city won't appear. Everything works offline, no internet needed.

Gratuito CC BY 4.0La realtà aumentata (le etichette sovrapposte alla fotocamera) è gestita da ARKit e SceneKit, i framework di Apple per iOS. Il GPS e la bussola sono gestiti rispettivamente da CoreLocation e CoreMotion. Sono le stesse tecnologie usate dalle app di navigazione e dai giochi in realtà aumentata.
The augmented reality (labels overlaid on the camera) is handled by ARKit and SceneKit, Apple's frameworks for iOS. GPS and compass are managed by CoreLocation and CoreMotion respectively. These are the same technologies used by navigation apps and augmented reality games.
